Write an introduction to an informative and factual blog post titled "Coffee: A Love Story". Coffee has been a beloved beverage the world over for centuries. From the humble beginnings of a 15th-century Ethiopian shepherd who discovered coffee beans among his sheep’s fodder, through the renaissance in Europe where coffeehouses became both popular meeting places and sources of intellectual discourse, to its modern incarnation as a drink that fuels endless work hours and late-night study sessions, coffee leaves us with many questions: What does it mean for our health? Is it addictive? And is this love story one we want to think about ending... or prolonging? Begin with an opening paragraph that connects the reader with the story. It should contain background information, which you can learn by doing brief research on coffee. Tell us why the topic is interesting to you and how your interest was sparked (such as hearing about it in history class or trying it for the first time). The next two paragraphs should provide us with basic facts about coffee: where it comes from, what countries grow it, how much Americans drink each day, etc. The last three-four paragraphs should look at specific aspects of coffee's role in our society today. How has the role of coffee changed over time? What is its role in our health and well-being? What do we know about its effects on the body and mind, and how does it affect productivity and happiness? What do we want to know, and how can we find out? Close out your blog with an action point. You could ask readers to email you with their own stories of coffee experiences (maybe they started drinking it as a result of yours), or give specific recommendations for further reading. This is a true story, which happened to a friend in Britain in the 1970s. It has been published under two titles: "Kathmandu" and "The Journey".  It was written by Flight Lieutenant Ian Castle in 1977. It tells of a long-distance walk from the Hook of Holland to Mount Everest base camp, undertaken by a Royal Air Force officer with an interest in mountaineering, accompanied by two friends from the Army who also have an interest in mountaineering. This is one of my favourite stories from my favourite book - you can find it at https://www.thejourney-book.com/?page_id=54 . The story begins over 1400 miles away from Mount Everest [... ]. We set out from where you are today, which makes the distance 2,432 miles. At the start of this trip I was a lad of 22 years old, with one year's mountain experience gained on Mount Kinabalu in Borneo. Now it is 20 years later. There have been many highs and lows along the way [...] I am writing this book with two friends of mine who have the same interest in mountaineering. We all joined up together, forming a team with common purpose and purposeful methods of operation - which is how we reached our present aim. Each one of us brought his own hard-won skills to the task; together we were an effective team, greater than ourselves individually.
